Usually keeping the window button in the closing position few second when the window is closed will reprogram it
I did that, doesn't work (followed the manual). I am not really concerned about the window though.
Door sensors are what really bothers me.

I'm getting a loaner today and my dealer taking a car for a day. Lets see what happens.

BTW, did anyone get the app garage working yet? Or there is still no software update?

IS this TSB applicable??

Subject: SB 2014 Q50; One-Touch Door Unlock Sensor Inoperative
Summary of ITB13038: IF YOU COFIRM The driver and front passenger doors will not unlock using the one-touch door unlock sensor, AND the Intelligent Key is within operating range, AND the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the Intelligent Key operate, AND the Touch Sensitive Door Sensor feature is set to ON. See page 2 for information about how to check the status of the Touch Sensitive Door Sensor setting. ACTION Disconnect the negative cable from the vehicle battery, wait 10 minutes, then reconnect. See this bulletin for further detail.
WORKED AS A CHARM!
Thank you buddy!

Body control module/bluetooth

I just took delivery on a 2014 CPO Infiniti Q50, with 9,000 miles. I have to say that I really like the car. It feels fast and solid, two of the greatest assets an automobile can have. But, the electronics are a bit fidgety. I could not get the touch sensors on the doors to operate properly. The passenger side button would lock the car, but not unlock it. The drivers side was totally dead. I visited the dealer yesterday and they told me the BCM (Body Control Module) would need to replaced. They cited a bulletin from Infiniti. I'll report back as soon as the module is replaced. Hopefully, that will solve a few more minor issues I have picked up on, like preset memory. As for the iPhone connectivity problem, I have the same issue in my office. After a few minutes, I can hear the person on the other end, but they cannot hear me. And, get this....I have experienced this on another iPhone. They said it was the speaker/microphone. I have yet to have this one serviced. I hope the electronics don't ruin the reputation of what otherwise appears to be a world class sedan.

What you did with the negative battery terminal was what you'd call "power cycling" it. It resets the computer's internal state. Kind of amusing, I'd have never thought about the need to power cycle my car like you would a network router or cell phone. I wonder if that means there's no mechanism--like a backup battery or non-volatile memory--to persist all various settings I've applied should the shop need to disconnect power during servicing. Anyone know?

Hello all. I've got the similar problem with my Q50 of 2016 - the driver's door sensor is no reacting at all. The passenger's one is working as expected. The battery trick didn't worked for me. After reconnecting the "minus" pole (I've waited for 60 minutes after disconnect) the driver's door handle sensor worked only once. Any ideas? Maybe the vehicle's battery is dying and should be replaced? Thanks indeed!

I wouldn't expect the battery trick would work since your problem is only on one side. I don't think the battery is the problem either as the passenger side sensor works.

I'm thinking you have a one-touch unlock sensor assembly failure on the driver's side, a unlock sensor harness/connector problem or the outside key antenna on the driver's side is faulty since the problem is only on one side.

There should be a DTC or two thrown because of this and a good scan tool would be helpful to narrow down the problem.

Thanks. The issue was sorted by the local dealer - they have replaced the driver's door handle assembly.
Where are you located? I don't know your country's flag.

Good info! I have the same problem and makes sense that it is isolated to driverside which by coincidence or maybe a prone area that is what is wrong with mine. My car is a 2016 Q50 premium AWD 3.0t. Also looking at his flag I would say it is Azerbaijan.

The internet is a wonderful thing, thanks to everyone here for the battery suggestion for fixing the Touch Sensitive Door sensor, it worked perfect on my 2014 Infiniti Q50. Took my car to the dealership and they wanted to charge me $159 for a "diagnostic" fee to understand the issue, and then the cost for what "fix" was needed. While this is a feature I could have lived without its really nice to be able to have this feature. Thanks again !

Sounds like if both front doors are affected then the negative battery cable disconnect trick can work. If it's on just one side, it most likely won't.
