I routed it into the armrest. If the nav seems to be a bit spotty I simply take it out of the armrest and sit it in the cupholder to regain the satellites. I have only run into that situation once, which seemed to be a dead zone since there wasn't any cell reception in that area either.

Having an issue with touch screen, the unit comes up fine but the input is 2 inches up and to the left from center. Anyone else run into this?
Going through my transactions I don't see you purchased this through me. However send me a message with a video I'll be able to help.

Mount it same location as Chris did. It works great!

I routed to the back of the car, behind the back seat
where a speaker is I used the 3M adhesive to put it on top of that speaker, clear view to the sky and I can lock gps in no time, and very concealed.

If infiniti were smart, which it seems it takes 4 years to catch on. They would start doing upgrades like this. I would pay $800 to upgrade my 2014, to a snappy more enhanced computer. Even makes the cars computer user switchable.
Yeah the intouch is quite the disappointment unfortunately. This modification definitely made the bottom screen a lot more useful.

Having fun with this module. Latest dashboard screen.

Using Nova Launcher with custom wallpaper and icon pack

Very cool. I use nova launcher on my phone. I haven't tried any icon packs yet. I'll have to dive into that.

Do you know if Tasker can be installed on that version of Android? I use the **** out of Tasker and would LOVE it on my dash system.

Can't see why not. I also use Tasker quite a bit on my phone. I haven't installed it yet on this unit but can easily test it.

@cbb77 I just finished watching your video review of the unit on YouTube. That was very helpful. The unit is much more responsive than I expected (except for Google Maps, as you mentioned). Thank you for taking the time to put that together!

For those who haven't seen it, here's the link:

As for Tasker, I just have a number of recipes, profiles, and scenes set up for driving that I would like to add to the dashboard unit instead of using my phone. An example is touching an icon to start navigation to my house and automatically text the ETA to my wife. Another example is one that reads incoming text messages through the speakers and prompts me with options for auto-replies based on who the message is from. It takes some work with trial and error, but I just enjoy tinkering with things like that.

Tested it and Tasker works without issue. Only created a simple hello task but worked as expected. Again, I also use Tasker on my phone so very familiar with setting up tasks and profiles.
