I live in ca and I don't really think they get that much hotter. Personally, I really love the stone seats but its the light carpet that I can't keep clean. I wish infiniti had the light top dark bottom option like so many other cars. I had a Jaguar XF with cream seats and dark grey carpet, it looked so good!

In some of the pictures posted previously the stone interior had dark floor mats. I guess if you want a dark bottom you need to get the mats.

They are not dark mats, they are protective covers to keep the carpet clean until they are sold. I've seen them in person. I'm sure you could buy black mats or get your dealer to throw them in, but I don't think it would look very good to have the mats and the rest of the carpet be different colors.

Let me add these here:

Just a heads up guys, whatever your dealerships tell you about incoming inventory and colors, and blah blah blah... how rare something will be, TAKE IT as BS. Verify yourself another way, if possible. Every car sales consultant is trained to "create a sense of urgency" to play on your emotions (worry, excitement, happiness). Knowing numbers is only one small part of successfully pulling off a good deal. Many salesman and most managers are psychological masters, even to the point where they will come off deliberately stupid to make you think you're the smart consumer who got the best deal. But the question is - did they make the sale?

*This is in response to the earlier post (forget who posted) about possibly only getting 2 ruby Q50's in all of SoCal.*

That was me, and at the time, there were only 2 configured the way I wanted, and that didn't come from my dealer, that was from my own calling and investigating every dealership. But even now, a month later, if you go onto websites or cars.com you will see that the Ruby is a low percentage color.

Universal sales tactic is to "create scarcity" in the minds of the consumer.

Our supply and demand system likes to create this FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt) to the salesman's Advantage.

Salesman don't like to deal with me because I'm willing to wait 2 years to buy a new car if the deal is wrong. I make sure I have several other cars at my disposal (I have a large family with 6 drivers), so that a rushed decision never needs to be made. Most don't have this luxury.

Really love that first shot! That slow shutter speed to get that twinkle in the fog lights and gathering more dust give me an idea for my shoot! :D

Ok, where are all mah Venetian Ruby owners?

Why you hiding? :(

I do find it interesting--if you go to cars.com, and I don't know if this means anything at all--or if it even accurately reflects Infiniti's production mix of the Q50 during this first quarter, but the Venetian Ruby Red is by far the least common color you can find right now, which is pretty interesting. Right there with the Hagane Blue.
