So I looked at the link you posted. GT5-1PP HRS grey to SMA Male RF Coaxial Cable For Antenna Radio wifi 0.5~15FT | eBay which cable type did you select?

RG316 or RG174?
From my googling, one was just better at...nevermind my bad explanation. Link is below lol.

Also, beware, I ordered all of them to be 1ft long but they definitely shipped me 6 inch ones. The metric system strikes again 😂. It still worked, but I certainly would've appreciated the longer ones to ease installation a bit.

What length would your recommend getting and did you end up getting both cable types?
I'd recommend getting a 1 foot long cable. Which is what I ordered. But they shipped me 6 inch ones instead. It's certainly doable with a 6 inch cable though.

Which type of cable? It looks like the 316 is a bit thicker? Is there enough room for it?
Yeah, there's plenty of space to tuck it back in there. I just ended up slightly rerouting the factory cable a bit to get a touch more slack in it.

So everything is mostly working except for the AC interface with the tesla screen. To turn on the actual AC, I have to do it from the intouch system and it works fine. But when I try to turn on the AC from the bottom tesla screen interface, I hear a click, and nothing happens. All the other AC controls (temp, seat heaters, fan speed, etc) work perfectly fine via either interface. Anyone have any ideas?

Not yet. But I'm definitely considering it.

As I've said before, I'm a buyer when one of these is 100% compatible with the InTouch system and doesn't have the quirks the older versions all had.

Which quirks are you concerned about?
All the problems that have been previously listed on this forum concerning compatibility issues with the Q50 InTouch system.

My biggest concern is reliability. How well are the Mk6's holding up?

Hey guys,

I just installed the AuCAR Android Mark 5 Tesla style screen over the weekend. I picked up the system on Alibaba from AuCar. They also have a website but the price listed on the site is more than what I got it for going direct on Alibaba. Let's just say I got it for less than what a Mark 3 system normally costs. The sales rep, Emma Peng, has been very helpful and responsive and got me in touch with their engineer on Whatsapp in case I had any issues/questions. Shipping time was pretty fast considering it shipped from Hong Kong via DHL. It was shipped express which was included in the price she quoted me. They shipped it on 6/1 and I got it on 6/3. Processing time after payment was about 3 days. The install was pretty easy because I had previous experience taking apart interior pieces to install a JoyeAuto system which I didn't really like so I made the change to this. The hardest part which took the longest was trying to figure out where to route the mic, mini speaker, and GPS antenna. I'm lovin' the system so far. No major issues. It has voice recognition when you press the voice button on the steering wheel. You can tell it to open and close certain apps, play/pause/stop, and a list of other commands. I was surprised that I didn't need to open the steering column to install a cable for steering wheel controls like I've seen with the Mark 3. It's integrated with the Mark 5.

Here are some pics.

Hi, do you know by any chance where to get the proper screen protector for this? Thanks!

Aucar sells them directly for about $20-30. I have one that came delivered with my MK6, but there's one spot that has a blemish that was on the "sticky" side, under the plastic cover. As a result, I cannot get rid of it. But it's only noticeable when the device is turned off.
