Spoke with AMS and they mentioned they now have the upgrade to connect directly to the ECU. Does this mean I can just add E85 and it will adjust if I still have regular gas in the tank? Ex. it mixes to down to E80 and it will automatically adjust? I don't need to get new maps?

Update: Now with EcuTek Integration! Run race gas (E-85) straight from the pump. With the Red Alpha Flex Fuel Kit you can run fuels or any mixture of fuels with an ethanol content rating from 93 octane to E85. Our flex fuel system’s ethanol sensor and electronics instruct your vehicle’s ECU on how to adjust parameters like fueling, boost, and timing to produce the most power possible for a given fuel or mixture of fuels.

Yes, but anything over 15% ethanol is not recommended by Infiniti. @Avedis53 <-he has the chapter n verse.

As I've also said, it's a matter of how much risk you're willing to take in the pursuit of HP. You have to be prepared to pay to play if whatever mods you put on an engine ultimately cause damage. To each their own.

MWH USED to do the flex fuel. He is now pump gas only. (After he got his replacement motor.)
I'm sticking to pump gas, and preferably no ETOH if I can get top tier.

Hopefully VT passes the law requiring no ETOH gas. (Spawned by the pleasure craft lobby, and angry boaters)

With the turbos and motors that have been replaced, I'm not really convinced that AMS has enough margin in their tunes....Blew a motor on an AMS tune and then goes back to AMS for a retune on the new motor????? Definition of insanity.

I was thinking the same thing.
