This is awesome. You getting these?

#4 ·
Maybe...

#6 ·
Yup, my car is currently running OEM Injectors.

Any ID injectors compatible?
Dunno.
Wouldn't we also need a higher pressure fuel pump too?
A Spool FX-180 HPFP would work perfectly with the DW Injectors.

talked to racebox required no special installation just have to trim the edges on the connectors a bit to make it fit.
They have different spray patterns but after talking to Hussain these injectors are nowhere near maxed out (should be good enough for 800whp same as ams injectors on e85)
People on the forum have ran it for above 10k miles to check reliability with numerous hard pulls and have gotten no issues so Id say its pretty reliable

Yup, you’re right. That’s what I meant as a disclaimer when I said “special installation.”

Here’s a photo of that (not my photo):

Yeah, a few months ago when Hussain asked me if I wanted to try ’em out, I was hesitant to do so. Now, not so much.

Wonder if there is a benefit of using these with oem hpfp? Im struggling right now to spend that much money on a hpfp so if adding these injectors for now with a lpfp might add some benefits then I might add them to my Christmas list for the wife to get me.

I am sure you can run full E85 with just the injectors and LPFP. The injectors flow more per PSI. I remember JetBlkM3 saying the AMS injectors are 1300cc. Here's a screenshot of the AMS injector's flow rate. My plan is to purchase these injectors and a flex fuel kit with stock HPFP. This should be way enough fuel for E85 on stock turbos.

About 2k$ for HPFP and these injectors, 200$ LPFP, 350$ for spool FF kit and 150$ for boxy FF tune. About 2,700$ for full FF E85 compatibility. Not bad.

No idea, wonder if Black Friday will be bigger %.

Partsgeek.com has the Motorcraft version for $104 each and they're its also $15 off if you spend over $300.

Just to be transparent: I looked up 2014 injectors for a 2014 Ford F150 3.5v6 EcoBoost.

stock cc? The 1700cc DW injectors are an upgrade with 30% more flow vs stock ecoboost injectors. Still roughly 1200cc on the stock ecoboost injectors, which would be an upgrade for us. Wonder if they would still be plug n play though

Kidding or not, LOL!

That wouldn’t be their first time dropping their prices. Some guy on FB called them out for overcharging $200 for their Pure Stage 2 Turbo option...

Before getting called out...

Luckily, I got my FX-180 in time for $1633 shipped (10% off code with no CA Tax).

But, Unluckily...

I’m waiting for the DW Injectors to get shipped. The vendor that I bought them from hasn’t shipped my order out yet, even though I ordered it 4 days ago. They’re likely drop shipped from the the manufacturer and likely won’t get shipped for at least a few weeks; the DW Injectors are likely sold out right now.

2 days ago, I contacted the vendor that I bought the DW Injectors from. They still haven’t responded to me with a definitive answer on why they haven’t shipped out my order yet.

So I called DW directly and they said that they sold out of the DW Injectors, and that the drop shipped orders that they’re getting from vendors will likely get shipped directly from them (the manufacturer) to the customers in early November (in about 5 weeks).

I wonder if that is because covid production slowdowns or the recent discovery of these injectors for this platform has spiked demand? Maybe combination.

#31 ·
Yep.

Nice. I'm buying these. Now just need an aftermarket fuel hat with AN fittings, spool, or anyone else. Please.

#34 ·
It took about a month for me to get the DW Injectors (they were sold out and were back ordered after RaceBox made the announcement of the DW Injectors to the public about a month ago).

Just spoke to Seth a few weeks ago and he is looking to tune people with these injectors now.

@socalsupra
I believe AMS is 1200cc these are 1700cc.
swapping injectors is standard practice, it’s just a matter of scaling it correctly to compensate, any tuner should be able to really, but ultimately you would need to ask the tuner specifically. I believe racebox is the only one with experience with these specific injectors on this specific platform at the moment. But doesn’t mean others can’t/won’t do it.
