Hey Guys! Haven't seen much upgraded turbo cars on here sharing any experiences, mods, or even talking about any power they are making. The list for the fastest VR30 is over 2 years old. Time to bring some light to the platform about upgrading, reliability, and the process. I'm here to start that thread. My mods are on my page, have any questions? Shoot. I have hundreds plus messages on Instagram from people all around the US asking me different questions.

PLEASE DO NOT GET OFFENDED LOL. Not tryna brag or have a "resume". Im editing the post to clarify that I'M STRICTLY TALKING ABOUT R/T TURBOS!!! There are a bunch of forums about pure turbo cars but the information about the R/T turbos is minimal. I haven't been able to find any information before talking to my tuner about what low boost and high boost is, what I can expect with the RA338 on E60 vs full E85. Yes this is my first post. Sorry if I offended any one by any means, I did not mean to to do so.

You'll be one of the first users with a mod thread here! Please tell us more! And please tell it here!

When I was going big turbo I found max three or four threads discussing the process, experience, power expectancy. I've been on this forum as a guest for the last year. There's really about a total of 2 Threads that even give a brief explanation about the R/T'S. No one talks about how much PSI they start out at, what low boost/ max boost, issues they've run into. I did extensive research for the last year and found nothing to be helpful towards the process. Again, may be me or maybe I didn't look hard enough, but just my two cents

I was going to say....there's plenty of mod threads and build threads on here.

I've answered thousands of questions here on this forum from people all over the world. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with your statement. We have many veteran members who have a great deal of knowledge about mods. Since you just joined this forum a few hours ago, perhaps you should spend some time reading threads on the countless mods that have already been documented here so you can contribute to our knowledge base.

Have you noticed an unusual number of new members coming on here in a condescending manner thinking they're a technical guru in some fashion and the rest are peasants? Would be hilarious for us to start quoting resumes and see who the amateurs are 🤣.

Curious why you went R/T instead of Pure when it’s well documented Pure make a good 30-50whp more than R/T? At least according to the many build threads, forum posts, discussions, and dynoes posted all over the forums in regards to this.

There's another thread where I overlaid dynos of a similar boosted/modded RT and PURE cars. The RT makes more low-end, the PURE makes more top end. But the gap on the lowend isn't much and the gap on the top end is quite a bit.

I think he's trying to become a social media influencer.

His mods are listed under "About" when you click on his name. Obviously, he didn't bother to read the new member's sticky.

Not everyone feels the need to brag about every little accomplishment they get. I don't own a shop or anything but was recently interviewed by Summit Racing on a live stream and have been testing their new twin disc clutch for the LS motor. I do my own tuning and have built stuff on the cover of national magazines. Currently working on a design for a 2 step for this platform for real launch control.

My pure turbos with my 93 octane map hit 23-24 psi.

I have a couple of mods. There are a few good threads on this topic.

Dint I say that already, only built motors and big turbos. Learn how to read.
Blah blah stop talking nonsense and go to elementary school to teach grammar clases to little kids.
i just noticed that your 1/4mile time is over 12 seconds and honestly im not impressed at all.
My buddys shop got the “WORLD RECORD” first mk5 supra in the 9s. Stock motor. So get in line bro, i’ll beat anything u got.
You don't seem to be getting off to a very good start here. If you want to get along, I suggest you stick your e-penis back in your pants. I told you once before to knock off the personal attacks in your posts yet you continue to be antagonistic. Debate all you want but keep it civil. I will not tolerate another Jeffpeds clone on this forum.

I see. I thought by your signature that you were already tuned. If I pull the trigger on a tune I want to have fueling upgrades in place with a WMI/ low pressure fuel pump at minimum to maximize the potential of a tune.

I’m also curious about how do you gain much by bolting 3” LDP onto the pitiful stock CBE?

Yeah, me too. In this case ill tune, run the car like that in the mean time. When i get the other bolt ons, ill re-tune with the fuel pump and possibly big turbos.

Are any of the turbo upgrades available really considered big turbo or even medium :)

Correct me if I am wrong, but I have not seen any people running "big turbos"

I believe you mean decreased back pressure. I run full catless downpipes and swapped the mid and y but kept the stock muffler. Good flow but a tame idle and cruise.

Jeez...I am off the forum for a few hours and all hell breaks loose.

OP. When you join a forum and want to share information, you post it. If I wanted to find your whatever thread or instagtam or whatever you have out there, I can search for it.

We had a youtuber who would create a new thread every time he made a video and put the link in the first post.

We dont need this. We can search youtube.

A post like that youtuber looks like attention seeking behavior.

700whp and 900whp on pure stage 2 turbos?
Link?

#68 ·
I haven't seen that on YouTube. Searching now.

And lately there have been a lot of new accts and on the road around me many more Q's. I was at an intersection of a major road, three lanes in every direction, 4 Q50's at the light.

It's not a matter of new people to the scene, it's a matter of turbo size. Look at PURE's website and dyno graphs. They're running 21+ PSI from the PURE's and making less than 700whp on an E blend. You're not picking up over 200whp above that unless its in the form of a large shot of nitrous.

I think he was probably confusing AMS and the other few individuals on larger turbos (non pure stage 2) that made 700-900. Was hoping he would clarify and/or prove us all wrong, But I don’t think I’ve seen over about 650whp on pure stage 2 with full E.
